4-Day Mission School, July 16-19


The 4-Day program is the complete opportunity for in-depth study, fellowship, worship, and learning. Participants engage in daily study discussions and worship services, in addition to many other activities and programs. Devotional time, Mission projects, Movies and other fun are all on tap.

Advance purchase of study books through the United Methodist Women's Mission Resources  is highly recommended, as the books may not be available during the event. The resident rate includes all meals and lodging. The commuter rate does not include lodging or breakfast.

2.  Youth (Grades 7-12):

Youth participants learn from an age-appropriate version of the spiritual growth study. Study materials are included. Youth participants may register for the 4-day program without an adult. They will be housed together in a separate area of the dormitory with adult counselors. 


Schedule Option 2

Day Sampler, July 20, 8:00-5

The one-day experience provides an overview of the mission topics. A program for  school age children is available, making this the perfect opportunity for families to experience mission and learning together. A Spanish Language track is also available. Lunch is included.


1. Adults:

This track will focus on abbreviated versions of the two featured studies, plus worship and other activities.


2. Adult Spanish Language:

The same elements as the adult track, with Spanish-speaking study leaders. Translation equipment is available for use during worship services.


3. Children (Grades K-6):

Children will learn about mission in a creative, entertaining environment with crafts, songs, games, and their own version of the spiritual growth study. Children must be registered with and accompanied by an adult.

With housing, includes 3 nights and all meals:     $285

  • 4-Day Mission School (Adults/Youth)

Without housing, includes daily lunch and dinner only:     $175

  • 1-Day Sampler, Adults/Children:    $60.00

Fees are due with registration. Online payment may be made through PayPal. For mail-in registrations, make checks payable to Mission u.

  • Scholarship Applications are due by May 1.

  • Registration and payment for the 4-Day Mission School is due by June 26.

  • Registration for the 1-Day Sampler is due by July 5. 

  • Register early, classes are limited. Registrations received after the deadline will be wait-listed and honored if there are cancellations.


  • West Ohio United Methodist Women provides Martha Scholarships for adults or youth attending Mission u for the first-time.  

  • A limited number of financial need scholarships are also available, and are considered on a first-come basis.  The award amount will depend on funds available and the number of applicants.

  • If you wish to apply for a scholarship, please print the scholarship application and mail to the address indicated on the form. The scholarship coordinator will contact you to let you know the amount of your award and complete the registration process.

  • Scholarship applications are due by May 1.
