Mission u Program Information

Schedule options include a 4-day school and a one-day sampler program:

4-Day Mission School, July 16-19

The 4-Day mission school is the complete opportunity for in-depth study, fellowship, worship, and learning. Participants attend daily study sessions and worship services, in addition to many other activities and programs. Exciting group discussions, inspirational music, mission projects, movies and evening programs, and many other fun and learning activities are all on tap.

Lodging is provided in student dorms. All rooms are double-occupancy, and roommate requests will be honored if possible. We also offer a discounted commuter rate for those who live in the area or prefer to make their own arrangements at a nearby hotel.

Mission study books are available from UMW Mission Resources. You can also find the issue study book Pushout, at many bookstores. It is highly recommended that books be purchased in advance. A limited number will be available at the event. Study materials for youth and children's programs are included in fees.

4-Day Youth Program (Grades 7-12):

Youth participants learn from age-appropriate versions of the mission studies. Youth participants may attend without an adult. They will be housed together in a separate area of the dormitory with adult counselors.

4-Day Children's Program (Grades K-6):

Children will learn about mission in a creative, entertaining environment with crafts, songs, games, and their own version of the mission studies. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

One-Day Sampler, Saturday, July 18:

The Day Sampler is one day full of exciting and fun learning experiences, including overviews of the mission studies, some elective activities, and opportunities for spiritual growth.
