2021 VIRTUAL ADVENT STUDY

Women Rise Up

Sacred Stories of Resistance for Today's Revolution

by Katey Zeh

Sundays

November 28 thru December 19

4:00 to 5:15 pm ET

During our 2021 Lenten study, we listened and read about women of the Bible and how their stories intersect with issues that women are currently facing in 2021. Join us again for Advent as we explore more stories uncovering layers of richness that come from our reflecting and sharing as a group. Along with our Bibles, we will be using the text, Women Rise Up, by Katey Zeh, to expand our reference points and reflect on the culture we live in.

About the book:

United Methodist Women (UMW) chose this book for one of their 2021 Reading Program Social Action selections.

This is not just a study for women. Men are also invited and encouraged to register.
